Roasted Jerk Chickpeas

If you're looking for a spicy snack these Roasted Jerk Chickpeas are perfect. They're great for a mid-day pick-me-up, munching on during movie night, or any time, really.

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. allspice
  • ¼ tsp. ground cloves
  • ½ tsp. ground nutmeg
  • tsp cayenne pepper
  • tsp. ground cumin
  • 1 tsp. muchi curry
  • ¾ tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 Tbsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 2 15 oz. cans chickpeas drained and rinsed
  • 1 Tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400° F.
  • Mix all dry ingredients together in medium bowl.
  • In another bowl, coat chickpeas with oil thoroughly.
  • Add chickpeas to jerk mix and toss to coat thoroughly.
  • Add to a parchment-lined baking pan and bake for 20 minutes, stirring every five minutes along the way.
