Peppermint Hot Chocolate

Ingredients

  • 4 cups oat milk or your favorite plant-based milk
  • 2 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 4 oz. semi-sweet chocolate or 1/2 cup
  • 2 Tbsp. coconut sugar or whatever your favorite sugar is
  • 1 Tbsp. peppermint extract

Instructions

  • Bring milk to a simmer over high heat in a small saucepan.
  • Reduce heat to low and whisk in cocoa powder until it’s mixed thoroughly.
  • Add semi-sweet chocolate and whisk until melted.
  • Add sugar and peppermint extract; stir until sugar is dissolved.
  • Serve immediately with plant-based whipped topping and crushed candy canes if you'd like.
