This really basic Flax Seed Egg recipe makes a great replacement for the real thing in just about any recipe.
This recipe makes a great replacement for eggs in baking—or just about anything. It’s simple and contains a lot of great nutrients like Omega-3 fatty acids and fiber. It’s not like you’ll get your recommended daily allowance of them or anything, but flax seed in any amount is awesome for you!
This one is so simple it’s only two steps: grind the flax seed and soak in water. Ten minutes, done!
Flax Seed Egg works as a great replacement in a lot of the baking recipes on the Nut-Free Vegan site. And if flax seed isn’t your thing, you can also sub in chia seed and get a similar result. Follow the same procedure, except you don’t need to grind chia; it’s ready to soak as it is.
